Fallout 3 3 Years, 3 Months ago
For anybody interested in why I haven't updated the site in the last week, it's because most of my spare time has gone into playing Fallout 3 lately. At first I wasn't crazy that one of the best game franchises from the 90s changed to FPS format, but I gave Fallout 3 a chance for a few hours and I got hooked. It really is a good game.

I'm not sure when I'll be doing the next update to Project Cheddar. I just haven't been searching for or playing flash games recently.

thx for the offer, but I removed Fallout 3 shortly after I finished the main storyline. I usually have a hard time continuing to play a game once I've beaten the main storyline. It just makes it tougher to get in to once I no longer have an overall objective.

I did have a chance to screw around with the game before I deleted it though. Explored the areas I missed, turned my char from good to uber-evil, installed mods, shot ants with the alien blaster, all that fun stuff. All in all I enjoyed the game and would recommend it, even with it being as buggy as it was. I never did manage to get it running in full screen mode without it crashing.

Did you ever find the armor under the deathclaw stronghold? I forget the name of the place, but it's in the north-east of the map. The armor will talk to you. It tells you to wake up and pay attention when enemies are nearby. ha, freaked me out the first time that happened.

The town was called Old Olney... but it could be different with the PS3 version, I'm not sure.

Although the armor is slightly better than the Telsa armor if I recall correctly, by the time you are strong enough to fight your way through all the deathclaws, the armor won't be that essential to survival anymore. Get it just for fun.

OMG, I completely forgot about this thread, but great minds think alike! I just recently started up a new game of Fallout 3 GOTY edition. By recently, I mean back in January. I was hoping to play it for a few weeks before I started school in Feb. Of course, I didn't come close to finishing it before class started, so I've still been playing it when I can.

I was planning on playing right now, after I checked out Cheddar for issues (Friday is my day off). So if you will excuse me, I'm off to Evergreen Mills to collect one of my last bobbleheads.

I've been holding off on finishing the main quest while doing everything else on the side, without going into the DLC content. My char is up to level 28.

I haven't decided if I'm actually going to play the DLC as I'm starting to tire of the game. As cool as it is, it gets repetitive after awhile. By the time I finish all the original content and the main quest, I'll probably be "done" with the game and have no desire to play the DLC missions. We'll see.

i haven't gotten into Point Lookout or The Pitt, but i Think i just started Broken Steel. like i said, i sort of finished the game. i think my character is up to level 24. Mothership Zeta is sort of entertaining. and Anchorage was more like a gaming experiment that i didn't really care to pay attention to. but it was worth it for the gauss rifle.
