so during my usual ritual of playing on the best flash game website of all time, i noticed that my name is the only one posting anything under the comments section.
Is this because it is back to school or does nobody but me play on Projctcheddar.com?

The summer is always slow, at least it has been that way the last two years I've been operating this site. Now with September upon us again things should pick up until the Christmas break. Of course, that only refers to the number of people visiting the site, not to the number of people posting comments.

Posters are a rare breed. It requires registering, which few people bother to do, and the few that do never bother to say anything. Your guess is as good as mine as to why, but my hunch is people just prefer to be lurkers.

I tried opening up the comment system to unregistered users in the past, but it resulted in a lot of crap and spam being posted. At least with the registration system I can keep the trouble makers out, even if it means less posts overall.

btw, you're not the only one that still posts. I get all comments emailed to me so I can monitor for abuses and spam, so I know. Other members do comment, but usually on older games. You're the only one commenting on the new stuff right now. For some reason we've lost a lot of the old regular posters.
