So, is anybody noticing any speed differences with the site since we've upgraded to the new server?

Note that some games take a long time to load regardless of speed because they've been programmed to load slowly (to show ads or the sponsor's site longer). That new game Deep Diver is bad for that. It took like 20 seconds to load when it was sitting on my hard drive.

No changes are a good thing, as it means I didn't break anything during the move

Of course, I was hoping there would be speed increases in load times for larger games, but it's so hard to tell if there is as some games are designed by the programmers to load slowly so the ads display longer.

The new server will help during high load periods when many people are playing at once, that's when the REAL benefit of a dedicated server will be seen.
