July 27th, 2010 for those of you who don't know.
Ah StarCraft... I was a teenager when the first StarCraft came out, and I played that game every day for 3 months straight. Then I woke up one day and it just didn't interest me anymore, in fact, no RTS has ever interested me since. I played StarCraft so much that it ruined me for the entire genre. It was just that good.
I'm still going to give StarCraft II a play of course (I'm not stupid), but the whole no LAN thing has me really pissed off. I have 3 computers on my LAN here at my place, plus laptop spots. I think the purchase of the game should entitle me to invite people over to play a StarCraft match on my network. It's unreasonable to expect me to pay for copies for each computer.
Blizzard... they just ain't the same cool company they used to be back in the 90s. I blame Activision
